For example, the stretch from Naha IC to Kyoda IC is convenient for visiting major attractions such as Naha Airport, Shurijo Castle, and Kokusai Street. The must-see Churaumi Aquarium in the north is about 40 minutes from Kyoda IC. To make efficient use of limited travel time, we recommend using the expressway.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is an ETC Card Required?<\/h2>\n

This discount applies when you use the expressway multiple times on the main island<\/span>. If the total driving distance between two tollgates is 30km or more, it qualifies. At tollgates, you insert your credit card to pay<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within 30 days of the first use, apply for the discount via NEXCO West Japan\u2019s “Michi Tabi” site<\/span><\/span>, and you\u2019ll pay only half the regular toll<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
